Desktop updates
OmO Desktop checks for a new version when it starts and every few minutes after that. Nothing downloads or installs until you say so.

You can also check by hand: open Settings, find the version, and choose Check for Updates.
The update menu lists what changed in each new version before you download it. If you skipped a few versions, it shows the changes for each one, newest first.
In Settings, next to the version, Update track picks which builds you get:
You can switch back to Stable at any time.
If OmO says it is running the Intel build on an Apple Silicon Mac, it is working through Rosetta and runs slower than it should. Install the next update and OmO switches to the Apple Silicon build.
If OmO can't check for or download an update, make sure you are online and try again from Settings. A failed download changes nothing: you keep running the version you have until an update installs.
